How come pool merchandise companies do not market on AZ fourms?

Do they not think that it would benefit their sales or do the forums not allow it at all? Has anyone ever seen this? Just curios.
 
I realize they market on the main page but they would reach many more I am sure on the fourm here.

It would be the end of AZ forum. In like 10 minutes if you allowed this the forum would become spam central.

Looks like "someone" didn't read the rules nor FAQ when he joined these forums. ;)

Return on investment is probably low the way most of these companies think about marketing.

And pool customers are notoriously "tight fisted" and very traditional about almost everything.
 
They do market on AZ - within the rules and guidelines and using courtesy not to spam the forums. Many companies have run contests, introduced new products, have conversations about their products, do some customer service work and so on through the forums. As well of course some actually advertise through the banners.
