How did PoolKiller (and his other personas) get here?

Aside from the fact that he's not playing a character, the guy really believes that random bar rules and playing techniques should be taught. While it's good to know and be aware of them, trying to have people use those types of rules instead of the ones that the good players play by is a bit silly.

If all the posts he/they did was an act, it sure as hell was extensive, going from the multi-page document that started this whole thing, to all the various accounts on here to the emails I have before he even made his first account here.

I've been 'online' since somewhere around 90 or 91, spending a large chunk of time with online text rpg-type games. You'd be amazed at the lengths some people will go to to get their kicks. Nearly every one of them will have a hard time hiding their habits(using the elipses, lots of caps, a-retentive spelling, etc) and they eventually pop out unintentionally. He tries different methods, but there are a few things he keeps repeating in his communications.

As for the bar rules thing, he tries to come off as intelligent but refuses to deal with the fact that playing that way is like cooking by throwing random stuff into a pan. It's like listening to a person talk about how good they are at sandbagging, then watch them miss shots that they honestly try to make. He knows he's a PitA, but that just gives him the attention that he's looking for. Must have a sucky life.

Hang, has he always professed to live in an E. European hamlet with the worst bar tables on the planet ?

As far as his rulesets and ideologies, I suppose it is a lot like using a waffle maker to cook a steak.

But on the bright side, The Thaiger / Pathetic Shark is gone :) Well, temporarily......until he finds a new handle to sneak back.......

Wait... Pathetic Shark = TheThaiger?

I missed connecting that. I usually can detect similarities, perhaps I'm not as good at it as I thought.

I kinda missed Tim, a little. Don't tell Sean :p

I always though he was from the US from how he wrote things, in the emails he never said where he was from, that only came up after people started to want to go play him to see how his rules and skills were "better". He said I'm not from near you guys, I'm from Europe.
