Exactly. Makes it easier to visualize where the balls are going and at what speed they are going to go after impact.

There's no billiard tables within a 600 lightyears of my galaxy but the way I aim a billiard shot is by the carom tangent. I know from pool how the balls will split. I do it on pool tables but the benefits to pool carry over directly.
