Thanks for the plug, but....
I'm glad you like my book, but where in my thread post did I say anything about 3/4 full and high inside english? If you are making the shot now then you are probably not hitting where you are aiming. The high rev. eng. is probably squirting the Qball enough to the right to wind up giving you an actual 1/2 ball hit. I gave you gold when I said 1/2 ball wont get you a kiss. Think about it, anytime you hit the ball fuller than 1/2 ball and the object ball is close to the cushion is when you are eligible for a kiss. If you cant get results with a dead center Qbl hit then you are probably not using a level enough cue. A Level stroke is what gets you the maximum collision-induced-throw effect. You dont need rev. eng. Why complicate the shot? One other point, when I say MEDIUM speed, I have the speeds broken up into 3 categories, easy, medium or firm, and hard. Again I say it is all in the book.

I have your book and it is awesome, has helped my banks by leaps and bounds and I am still learning from it, but when I hit the ob half full with medium speed it always goes right into the long rail. That was my initial inclination every time it came up, but it was always too thin for some reason. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
But after working with it for a few minutes, I think I have it. 3/4 ball, high inside english, firm hit.
