How do YOU burnish the sides of your tips??

I've got the perfect tool for burnishing tips. Only $9.95 (includes shipping). PM me if you're interested.

Almost forgot - here's a picture of the tool.
Junkbond - I looked at the pic and I think you are on to something - If I purchase 10 or more can you give me some type of quanity discount??

The best thing I have found, is a strip of emery cloth.. Turn it over and use the backside... it will conform to the side of the tip, and slightly to the edge. Spit on your finger, rub around the sides, and try to start a fire with that Biatch!! Now it's shiny, tough, and ready to go!

Disclaimer; I do not condone the use of table rails to burnish your tip unless your in a room with horrible equipment.

I rub my forehead for the oils we all have, then I apply it to the tip AND shaft. Then I used a an old piece of leather I stole from Searing 100 yrs ago and seal both the shaft and tip. Spinning the cue in one hand and while gripping semi-tight going from tip to finish point. Your natural oils seal the wood better and keep the tip shiney

After I use a tiptool to edge off the tip perfect....

I was wondering how long it would take responders to mention the old trick of rubbing the tip on the rail. Learned that so long ago they were not making tools for the job.---Smitty
