Exactly what the title saids...how do you clean them? What do you use? Etc.

I've just been using a rag with lighter fluid and rubbing hard around the bridge area first before finishing towards the bottom. The butt of the cue I basically leave alone. Wipe it off but I don't touch the wrap.

i just wipe it all with that karseal rag...nothing fancy...plus i like he dirty look on the shaft that dark look, i don't like it feeling dirty but i like the dark colour so i clean it without any abrassive

Cleaning the cue

When I am done playing, I go wash my hands and bring back the damp paper towel and wipe my shaft off. I chalk my cue, not cue my chalk , so there isn't much on the ferrule. Once a month, on a lathe, I will use Scratch Out on the ferrule to clean and shine. I also use Chris Hightower shaft cleaner when using the lathe. I can use Scratch Out rubbing compound on the butt end also to remove dirt and really shine it up.

I like using a little bit of windex on a towel. It cleans it but doesn't make it too smoothe. If it is humid or it gets a little sticky I use the Q smooth burnishing papers.

That's what I use --- a soft cloth moist with lighter fluid. I also might use Simple Green® diluted with 2-parts water to moisten a soft cloth. As others have said, clean up after each session with a soft cloth or paper tower.

I find that using a Brillo pad really cleans it up.

Then to get the steel wool and soap off I quickly run the shaft under really steaming hot water.

Then wipe off with a rough towel.
