How do You Develop Confidence against a "Superior" opponent?

I traveled the country and the world competing at the art, sport, and game of pocket billiards. There were times when I knew my opponent had superior skills, at least in certain categories....and I still HAD to win because when gambling high 2nd place isn't acceptable!

We can always use our mind, creativity and experiences to gain an advantage, and at least have confidence. It takes courage to put yourself out there in front of people in a situation that spotlights you as a person and competitor....but it is the only way to develop to your highest level.

Hopefully you will gain some insight from me and my experience that can help you "snatch victory from the jaws of defeat," and play to your full potential no matter what the personal consequences or unusual situations.
