How do you dress or appear at a pool hall?

Pool players for the most part dress like shit and I’m considered a pretty sharp dresser. I get compliments from females on that department.

Like I said. I dress like shit to play.

Come tournament time I’m sharp. Sometimes I break out the expensive cues for the occasion. It just compliments a player.

Nobody using a cuetec dressed up. It’s time to break out the ivory and mother of pearl stuff.

This thread is to identify trends in fashion if any for pool players.

If there was a pool movie each region would be distinct in their clothes based on region.
UK has more snooker players, however they convert to pool.
Korea (one korea) has carom players they dress well to.
Americans do not have government sponsors.

Americans dress differently and putting that on a page or film or photo takes a lot of research.

There are road players, the pros that fly and the stakehorses. That was hustler days.

Today in any poolroom you can have a lot more costumes and disguises. Sneaky Pete was my fav, it doesnt use a costume though.

Its makes more sense to have a pool competition where the main sponsors are different alcoholic beverage companies. Each poolroom sells its own line if marked up fashion merch. The promotions helo raise funds for the upcoming events.

It was drink, pose, pool and selfie.
In fantasy land a player with have a food/drink sponsor and a fashion consultant.

World players can promote brands designed for export.

I basically dress like this in different colors. With a sharp looking cue too. This would be tournament attire every week. Have to get use to playing in certain clothes and get use to it. A fat slob isn’t going to play comfortably if he is not use to the clothes.

Don’t wear mosconi shirts, predator shirts or anything you see a pro wear. It’s hilarious people wear them like it’s a football jersey.

NYC area looking to field test the BAD.

Users will connect to MIMO router, connect to localhost and access filetypes and mysql functions.

Skyline or Sandcastle still deciding I plan to get there early.

If its a hackathon I go
mobile and can leave the system on during transit. I will not defend or attack.

Anyone interested? Polytech users mostly and ppl needed for overloading.

If I want to look like I am ready to gamble small then big.

What if I just want one big match plus a rematch?

Which terms are proper to discuss?

Asking for a friend thanks. Its on.
You've figured it out. Clothes is definitely your problem. Yep. It's the clothes. If someone tries to tell you anything else, they're just jealous. It's the clothes. Imagine how smart you'll be once you're dressing yourself. Practically unstoppable. I would personally stick with Velcro shoes if I were you.

Just stay in your pajamas you blathering moron, we all know you can't play pool, have only basc computer skills, only gamble on scratch-offs, and aren't leaving the house anyhow.

Anybody who has ever gambled in a pool hall has never once thought about what they were wearing to get action. At least nobody any good.
I have to disagree.

People have dressed up or dressed down forever in an attempt to give the impression that they were something that they were not in order to get action or disguise who/what they were.

From the hayseed in the Midwest fresh from plowing the back 40 to the corporate type in an expensive suit right out of the office with lots of money but no game.

Nothing new under the sun...

Sandcastle is today before lunch.

BAD will be deployed you can access my decades worth of learning.
If you want the 2K files its in a file directory (pdf, png, xls, html), get the web scraper ready.

I am field testing the communications equipment, not the BAD modular software.

I had a late start yesterday because of technical issues. Mobile field testing was a success. Running a router on a moving train creates connections on the train, I couldn't test the flyby connection speed. The rate it takes to make the connection, needs lab equipment.

Today I am suppose to test the remote ssh to control the rpi cam. Then I drive off.

Show us one picture that proves you did anything even remotely like you claim.

Terminus on my iphone is ssh into pi for controlling.

Router is unsecure, the extra power gives me the boost for connections.

Rpi processes media, I manually cp them to the network folder. If I had time it be automated.

Users connect to SSID, enter ipaddress and access services or operate remote devices.

Sandcastle is 1 hr from now.

My tech stack is wifi-rpi-smartphones.
Deployment is fast and cheap.
Programmers will be busy.

I will do a public demo today. Are you scared to connect to an open SSID and access files or services.

Here is the view from the phone.
I have zero time for UI/UX.

If you have a regular size keyboard for the phone you can become a advanced drone pilot.

I always get comments on my dress sense at the Pool Hall. Nice pressed chino's or gray flannel pants, a vest or sleeveless sweater, a nice quality dress shirt, tie and a fedora.

Harry Anderson.

See Night Court Season 3; 2 part episode called "The wheels of justice", a good scene of Harry practicing pool. He was a good player.
My search brought up so many things that It could take years to find it. I hope some one will post a link. I remember it, but it would be fum to see again.
