It is real hard to tell where the cue contacted the CB but if I was to guess I'd have to say the left side.
It does show the CB going airborne but....

it looks like the CB is back (or nearly so) on the table at contact with the OB.

So despite what everyone here has said, including the best banker in the world, you continue to refute. Many here have tried it and made it using the exact opposite of what you describe.
My question to you is, have you attempted the shot or are you simply going off what you've seen on the video?
It really doesn't matter either way. I have tried it myself (many different ways) and can make the shot, or at least a reasonable facsimile of it (meaning to pass the side and come back to the other, my table won't go that wide).
If the CB wasn't still airborne you wouldn't be be able to see a shadow that goes from the left side to the right side underneath the CB.
But you ARE looking at what actually happened in this shot which is an exception in this thread.
Now follow the OB.
Overall, something is happening on CB/OB contact, OB/cushion contact, and in midair. I think what that is can only be speculated on because it's too hard to see. It seems possible that the OB completely flipped over in midair with a high degree of spin on it because the spin wasn't scrubbed off by full time contact with the table surface.
But a good place to start speculating is from what we can see DID happen rather than what happened on a different shot we tried, or a shot or shots in someone's book, or the opinions of someone who refuses to consider what actually happened.
If the OB did get airborne is wasn't for very long/far.

Bottom Left!! Slower the table better the result... handy shot, but not at all difficult...
