How do you Measure a Table?

Karate

Do you expect me to post?

I'm looking for basic measurements.

Length? Is it from rail to rail or what?

Width? same here.

Pockets? center of the cut cushions?

Also, table height from floor....is there a standard height that is used?
(I'm talking about 9 foots here, but would like to know if it varies from
7 and 8's or bar box to standard tables.)

Thanks,

To determine the size of table the playing area is measures as follows. 9ft table will be 50" x 100" , 8 ft table is 44" x 88" , 7 ft table is 39" x 78". You measure from cushion edge to cushion edge (inside tip) of the playing area.

The pockets are measured from point to point of the cushion angles.

The height is from the floor to the top of the slate height and not the rail height.
WPA Standards- Shall be between 29 inches [74.295 cm] and 31 inches [78.74 cm].

It's easier to measure between the diamonds on one rail this will tell you the size of the table. All tables have the diamonds at a certian spacing.

I dont have any rails to measure right now but there is a mathmatical formula for the placemant of diamonds.
