How do you pronounce Lucasi?

Wow, I'm amazed at how many of these replies are either dead wrong or totally vague about how the "a" syllable is pronounced.

Andrew is correct. Talk to anyone at Cue and Case sales, their distributor, and this is the way it is pronounced.

As my high school english teacher would have said, the "a" is short, not long.

Last night at the weekly bar league i got into a discussion on how to pronounce Lucasi. I say as loucasey they were saying loucawzi. Hope this makes sense it's the best example i can give.

Well...

Jim Lucas owns Cue and Case sales. Jim Lucas started the Lucasi line (among others). Many believe that he added the "i" to the end of his name to give it a European sounding name.

This is the only way I have ever heard it pronounced. If it were Loo Kay See, it would be spelled luchese where I am from.
