Hey all. I was just wondering how most of you store your cue collections. I went from many assoreted cases to 10 X 10 dealer cases stacked in a closet with my high ends in my It's george cases. I have also been thinking of a rifle size gun safe. So tell me how are you all doing it.

A gun safe is a good idea. Get a good one and bolt it to the house.

Also, don't forget to photo and catalogue for homeowner's insurance... You may need to amend the policy a bit to cover their replacement value; however it is money well spent!

I have a pair of fireproof gun safes that are bolted to each other.one is in one closet in my bedroom and the other is in a closet that is directly behind mine. They are bolted thru the wall with four, 1/2 inch studs with nuts on the inside. And both the doors swing out so that you can not put a pry bar in it without the wall being in your way. Both safes are over 500 pounds and are bacically attached to the house.I only have a few cues and no high dollar ones but I have other items that I store. This may be overkill for you depending on what cues and the ammount of cues. This was close to a 6000.00 investment but some of the cue collections I have seen on here deserve it.If you have a large and expensive collection I suggest a good fireproof safe.If you think about it it is easy to spend six grand plus on a single cue.I think its a great investment and a good piece of mind when your away from home.

Anywhere the wife couldn't find them.

GREAT ADVICE!!!!!
