I mean the payment part.

If I am interested in buying a cue using escrow service.

If I have contacted the seller and he agrees to use an escrow.

I will sent my payment to the escrow service provider via ..........Paypal?

The service provider will sent the payment to the seller via ...........Paypal?

What is the normal practice?

I know some sellers would prefer money orders and such which i am not familiar with. I normally use my paypal.

Does Escrow service provider accept Paypal but pay in Money order to what ever cash services is available in the USA in a reasonable amount of time ( not waiting for paypal money to be deposited into his account and such which is way too long!)

Of course with another party there is going to be added fee. Anyone got any good experience to share the best way of doing this? I think escrow is probably the best way of transacting a cue between to unfamiliar parties.

Hope this helps.

I suppose the paypal to money order thing is some what of a private arrangement between the service provider and the buyer.

Escrow

I have used Escrow here from a 3rd party on AZ.I know that if i used pay pal i had to pay the fee.I used money order. But this was agreed upon the seller and myself.Once we agreed to ''terms' we contacted our 3rd party and with a very small fee he completed our transaction. It may only take a few extra days but it was a very easy and safe transaction. All parties also talk on the phone.Much easier than some may think.I highly recommend escrow.I hope this helps you out.Good luck!

Make sure whoever does your Escrow tells what Escrow is in their opinion. I had a friend who did escrow here on the forum, and he was not even given time to examine the cue before the escrow agent sent the money to the seller. The cue was not as described and the seller would not return the buyers money, it turned out that the buyer lost money, so what purpose did escrow serve?

In my opinion the escrow agent should know what the agreement between the buyer and seller is, then the buyer should be allowed to examine the item in a reasonable time before the money is sent to the seller.

Be careful and ask the right questions

Not really.

The Paypal is sent to the seller only when the cue is sent to the third party and you are satisfied with what the third party has to report.

It's pretty neat.

Good luck.

its a awesome service to provide, i do it on a site i moderate and i dont charge any fees. ive had to pick up a couple bucks on the total tab on a couple deals but that doesn't bother me.......i offer it as a way for safe deals not a way to make money at all. i hate seeing people getting ripped off and do what i can to prevent it.
