How foul a foul?

In a friendly game i think it's hilarious - really, what's the difference between dropping the ball or shooting it into the balls? Same result. If pool were that serious it would be on tv. If fact, if anybody cared at all, outside the 300 to 500 on forums or watching streams, maybe we could get our panties in a bunch(after reading this, i think there's more that wear panties than i originally thought)

Not really no difference... its much easier to make a good hit dropping it out of the sky.

But you make an interesting point, why not make all the shots with your hands? Just pick em up and drop em in the pockets.

My granddaughter plays that way. She's a runout player at 4 years old.
