IMO-Jacoby's are well made, solid hitting cues that seem to be a good value. Some of their older designs (like Balabushka and Hoppe copies) look great and play nicely.

The ones that I have played with hit very well. If you want a good playing cue at reasonable price than do not be scared of buying one. However resale value is another subject..........

i have 2 of daves cues ...they are the best cues i have ever owned....jacoby cues takes time and effort to make you the perfect cue....both my cues are custom cues....

Here is one of my Jacoby's, I love the way the cue hits, and Dave's shafts for the cue are tight grain, really nice.

here in Wisconsin many good players use Jacoby cues since they are locally made. i've seen many that i thought were very nice. they are very competitively priced.

depends what you want though, if you want an investment sure to go up in value, you want something else. if you want custom cue quality at a production price, get a jacoby.

Jacoby IS one of the best cues on the market. Not only do they play extreemly well, but they are made and backed by one of the nicest families in the business.

You will NEVER go wrong with a Jacoby!

:) IMHO, Jacoby cues are currently one of the best values in cues. I own one of his plainer cues and use it when playing in local bar-box tourney's (where I do not feel like bringing in a more expensive cue). Have been using this cue for about 2 years and have had no problems whatsoever.

They play great, im in the middle of trying to acquire one myself.

thank you for so many answers to my question. i have purchased the b-15 and it is made very well with very good woods. it can easily compare with the "big name" cues. if they are made all in this quality i can recommend tem to anybody. if you have further infos about this cues let me know. their homepage is not very informative. does any top pro use one?

jacoby

i have played with one for a couple of years and is one of the best hitting cues i have tried.if interested i have a couple for sale also.

I have a custom Jacoby that I've had for a couple of years and I love mine. Prior to purchasing the Jacoby, I played with a Joss West, a Meucci, a Stonier, a Shraeger, and a Pechauer. I like the Jacoby the best as far as playability is concerned.

Jacoby makes a very good cue. I have a custom Jacoby that is one of my favorite cues to play with. You can't go far wrong with a Jacoby, although individual cues do vary.

The hit is great but some seem to have more deflection than average IMHO.

Under-man,
Jeanette Lee has for quite some time used a Mosconi Billiards cue custom made by Dave Jacoby.
I think Corey Duell's Woodpecker line is made by Jacoby.
