Im at 67% winning percentage after 1140 games, ive won 167 million dollars.
Never spend a dime. Not great but not bad.

I stopped playing it like a year ago. Was sick of the bullshit with people running out on the luckiest shots they make with no real concept of the game. No clue how any real pool player wouldn't get aggravated seeing some of that.

They have call pocket, rome is bank the 8 ball, no guidelines option amd nine ball. I play no guideline 9 amd call pocket 8 and when i have enough money, rome.

Its a game, lol, you cant get aggrivated. My only goal is to keep my percentage high and collect all the rings.

The game is Miniclip 8 Ball Pool.

I think it's fun and can even be useful to help think through patterns, though many successful patterns in the game are unrealistic in real life. It's an interesting alternate universe where position is the only thing that matters since it's pretty much impossible to miss a non-bank shot.

I have 4 billion chips and absolutely believe it has helped me plan out my 8 ball patterns while I'm at "work"

I have given millions of chips away to friends that want to buy a nicer cue so they can break harder and get more spin. I just bet their max bet and when I get down to the eight ball I call the wrong pocket.

long ago

I played some virtual pool with excellent playing characteristics long ago. I don't remember what it was now. You could play in tournaments and gamble with other players best I recall, real dollars. As usual with software there were ways to cheat and almost certainly superusers. Same things that make it foolish to play online poker.

I remember playing it like I was on a real table and it did help keep my game in tune. When it came time to unload some serious whipass I could cut a ball down a rail almost the length of the table and other shots I could never make on a real table and all position had to be was to be able to see the next ball. When I shifted into video mode people assumed I was using an alias and asked who I really was. I was cashing in tournaments but just went away. One person might have a half dozen or so entries in a tournament and be moving forward playing themselves. Same thing on a poker table. You were allowed one ID, some had 20 ID's or more plus superusers could see the cards that were face down. Sit at a table where one person had six players or could see all the down cards and it was just throwing money away.

Video is fun and could be a good thing in pool. Unfortunately, as soon as real cash is involved gamers find ways to cheat.

I'm at 59% after 1196 games but I've only won 3.8 million. How'd you win so much money?

lol, what kind of cue do you have in the app world. I'm rocking a advanced level 4 Oak cue. That's about as good as I can do right now.

i played plenty in the old version (was the first with 100k wins ) and i learned alot about the cueball, ballreactions and patterns. i think theres alot you can translate in one way or another to the real table.

try to get a good, reasonoable cue with a low recharge (a country cue is a start) and most important, stick to it. then get a feeling for the game first on lower tables or even better in friendlies. then the rest comes from alone. it took some time for me at first too, but once i was used to it, its easy af to win those pesky chips lol.

Im very happy to say in one generation youll all be gone.

Nah I’m 31-33 depending how I’m feeling and I’m full blown on the real world. There’s plenty of us around and even some of the little kids now will develop their own hatred of tech and hype and data collecting programs.

I have an Xbox 360 that was there when I moved in. I actually got addicted to this game Skyrim and eventually had to break the disc at 4 in the morning lol. A couple other games were left with it and I mess around a couple times a year when I feel like it but mostly I play pool, work out, explore the woodses, get sweaty with women, shoot stuff, and I’m currently planning a trip to MS to sell my soul.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with technology, it’s actually great...but you have to control it and not the other way. Developing technology to get off the planet and spread is our whole purpose so some people have to be all about it, but not everybody damnit.

I’ll rock the IPad or my phone to chit chat on azb or watch some pool matches. I watch a lot of space stuff too and read about crazy things but I don’t do much “playing”. Do you ever watch people now on their phones? It looks like they all have a tic where they have to peek at this machine in their hand, or others are stuck to it with their eyes.

I know this is a lil removed from the 8 ball app but your comment about “whoevers” being gone in a gen is just incorrect.

Now all this said, I would volunteer for testing out the neural link or some type of downloadable human consciousness in a heartbeat. Not because I’d be connected all the time and able to play 8 ball app in my head but because if I could get my consciousness stored externally, then someday it could be put into a man made body that could then travel true extreme time/distance to see other stars and planets.
