How long do you think the Earl/Shane set will take tonight? I'm thinking between 4-5 hours. Johnnyt

3 to 3.5 minutes a rack? I don't think so. Johnnyt

That's my average, and they play a little faster. Doesn't take long to run out a rack of 9 ball on a bar table, and those two will be running out a lot of racks.;)

I hate people that ask a question and then say, "That's not right" like I just did. Thank you both for the feedback. Johnnyt

I was asking myself the same question earlier. I came up with 3.5 - 4 hours for 9 ball. If it's a blowout, it'll be less.

Add a break or two and I think it's safe to say JohnnyT, that your wife will be tucking you in by midnite with your warm milk! ;)

Thank you. Chalk one up on my side of the board.
With winner break it could be something like 30 to 18. Johnnyt

Here's how it went- first hour, twenty games. Second hour, 15 games and they took their break during that hour. Total match of 20-30 took 2hrs 45 minutes.

thats about right, it takes 60-70 minutes to play a close race to 11 of 9 ball.

This is what i would say, when we would play races to 11 in our room , it was always around an hour or less, depending on the score.

But we couldnt put racks together like these two can, so it mite take them even less time !

That's all right, just blame it on age. (age has to be good for something now and then)

edit: I was way off on the amount of packages they would run.
