How long have you been playing BCA?

I ran across these the other day. Even though my memories are a bit fuzzy from that time, I’m pretty sure I did not play in the tournament that Jimmy Reid won and Mark Wilson took second.To the best of my recollection these must have come from a qualifier at college.

Anyone else getting ready for the 2007 BCA in Vegas in May?

Wasn't that BCA Championship held in Colorado Springs at the 4 Seasons Hotel? Colorado Springs Pool League flew Fats in for some demos. They held the Rocky Mountain 9-Ball event also. It could have been 1980. What is your recollection?

I am actually pretty sure these must have been from some type of qualifier at the college I attended at that time in Champaign IL. Even though it says National Tournament I believe what I actually played in was a preliminary for the “Champions Tournament” in Rochester, NY later that year where those listed on the BCA website got first and second.

A friend with a program from that “Tournament of Champions” from 79 thought it was in NY that year even though the location was not listed! Could have been in Colorado Springs though!

A Friend of Mine

won the National Championship in 1971 in Miami, Florida. Then in 1987, his team won a National Championship in Vegas. His name .... Terry Young, that owned Rumors Billiards for many many years.

It was in Co Sprgs in 1980 along with the Rocky Mtn Open. Sorry about the confusion.
 
I have been playing BCA leagues since late 1999 & been playing out in Vegas since 2000...did miss 2005 :(

Looking forward to heading out to Vegas again this year to play in the BCA event!
