How long to decide how to make a ball?

Two seconds to get up from the chair and to come to the table, one second to bend down and half a second to shoot with no warming up strokes.

He REALLY plays this fast. I'm a witness!

P.S. Think long and think wrong! Trust your instincts and get up there and shoot. Your first instinct is usually the best. Of course in a strategic game like One Pocket you do need to study the table. And when you're faced with a difficult situation (maybe a kick shot) in 9-Ball you need more time as well. Other than that, let your subconscious (left brain?) do your thinking for you.

It depends on what type of game i play, how difficult the shot is, what my options is for running the table etc.
I find that my game tend to follow my mood.
If I'm relaxed and focused i play better. If I'm tired and/or stressed out i can't focus enough to play with any focus, i just knock em down as i see them...
