How many pool player has won 797,075$ in the last two years?

Dale...The thread can relate to money made from pool in any legitimate way (by a poolplayer) , and when it's about who made that kind of money from pool, in that catagory Jeanette Lee wins...hands down. It's pretty common knowledge that Jeanette is making mid-6 figures annually, from several sources...the biggest sponsor being Bass Pro. Jeanette is also the front person for the APA (which pays her six figures annually). She is represented by Octagon, one of the most prominent sports representation agencies in the country. I'm not the only one that knows this stuff. BTW, she's worth every penny she makes. She's a great player, great personality, and a great professional representative for the sport of pool.

Some people are money mad, and see it everywhere.

At one time, this would have been just the tip of the iceburg.

Davis and Hendry typically made about 10 times as much from
appearances and endorsements as from prize winnings.

Don't know if this is still the case, Snooker is not nearly as "hot"
as it once was either.

ah the good ol days, 1995 World Snooker Championship, Stephen Hendry cleans up with:
190 000 gbp for 1st place
147 000 gbp for a maximum break (147)
16 000 gbp for the highest televised break

totalling 353 000gbp (just over 500 000USD) for one freaking tournament!!!!!!

i think his manager Ian Doyle gave him a testarossa for winning as well.

Pretty swell, I have a video of high breaks(runs, in poolspeak).
At one tournament he won a Ferrari - IIRC for the high break
of the tourney.

Steve Davis once won a Lada.:eek::eek:

Ding Junhui won his weight in meat pies (the tournament sponsor) - think he donated them to a food bank

Sponsors were relieved it wasn't Stephen Lee...

As for Steve's Lada, he got that for doing the first televised 147 in the Lada Classic IIRC. I'd have given it back.
