How much is my 80's Julio Stamboulini cue worth?

I picked up a cue that had a really nice grain at the antique store. It's a 1980's Julio Stamboulini cue. It hits really nicely (not as solid as my McDermott, but still...) and is made of a wood called Padauk. It's in really amazing condition for a cue that old... Anyone have any idea how much it's worth?

See pictures below. Thanks everyone!

Hello Dan, the cue was actually made in the 1990's by Adam Custom Cue in Japan. If it is perfectly straight, it is most likely worth between $100 and $150. Since these cues are imports they have appreciated in value like most other Adam Cues. But, they do make great players and that is what I would do with it.

Cue Info

According to the 3rd Edition Blue Book your cue was one of 12 cues offered in the first series in the 1980's. This Line of cues was made by Adam. These cues are listed on page 756 if you have access.

Your cue is the number Julio #2 cue in the 12 cue line and according to the Book Pricing Grading at 98 % condition would be worth Approx $210 at time of print in 2005.

Hope this helps you

Thanks.............Paul

yeah I think it is from the older batch because the inlays are white and not blue-ish. Thanks a lot for both of your replies...very helpful!

cheers.

what is my 1980's Julio Stamboulini cue worth,
it is in great shape and is the Level-4 Julio-12 model with, - Stained maple forearm, four floating ebony points with a pearlized plastic dot and notched diamond-shaped inlay in each, stained maple butt sleeve with four pearlized plastic notched diamond-shaped inlays set in ebony ovals with ebony half ovals above and below between a row of white plastic checks at top and bottom.
