how much is my schon worth??

Your best bet is to e-mail Evan Clarke at Schon cues.

http://www.schoncues.com/

It might take him a couple days, but he will respond and tell you the model number. From there you should be able to determine an accurate price.

Off the top of my head, if the cue is in good condition, I'd say around $300.00

If you need any work done on the cue I would highly recommend Evan, he did a great job on my Schon and He's a real first class person to deal with.

may i ask how much he charged and what he did to your cue?

He did some work on the shaft, he will quote you a price for whatever you need done.

I'm no authority on cues, but I agree with the $300.00 until better pics can be seen.

it looks to be a stl4 with nicer rings.. and for your question about the ivory i would say evertthing white on the cue is ivory EXCEPT the buttcap that is not.. retail on the current version of the stl4 is like 600 and nobody ever pays retail.. in new condition the cue probably was 450 to 500.. so used like they said.. probably inbetween 300 and 400.. depending on condition and if anybody wants it.. thats the major part..

****edit...

looking back at your pics.. but it looks to me that the points have a grey or blueish veneer in them? its hard to tell.. but the stl4 doesnt have any veneers.. its possible your cue is a version on the now current stl5 but ebony points and ivory in the rings.. they make slight changes over the years.. here is a pic of the stl5..

ya it does have a grey/black/bluish to the points.. and also it is really hard to tell the shape of the points on the pic but they actually are not anything like the stl5 or 4.. it doesnt really look like anything in production today which is why im asking and i wish i had better pics.. but to me it looks the most like an stl 15 - the inlays.. thanks for trying to help me out though guys..hopefully i can borrow my friends camera and get better pics up

its definatly like a stl5.. just different colors and ebony.. look at the stl15 close. thats a 6 pointer.. yours is deffinatly not.. here.. is a close up of the 5.. and if you were able to show better pics of yours.. i bet it would look like that.. except where its natural you have the blue/grey/black.. and in the rings you have ivory instead...
