Wow, that is sure 'Purdy"! I took these pictures because of how it got damaged on the wrap when it got stuck in my case. Long story. The points are sharp and even. It was a great-playing cue before I got my Viking. I won many a tournament with it, including a 2nd in VNEA Nationals and a 13th place in the WPBA. As you can tell, one of the shafts has the original ivory ferrule, but the other one was changed. BTW, the tips are perfect, as that is how low I like them to be.

I tend to not discuss the price paid for a cue. 1) Do I really want any lowlife types knowing the value? 2) While some makers have a set price schedule, which is usually quite public...others may price dependent on the customer. I feel that information should be held confidental...between the customer and the maker.

I know what I paid for mine, and suspect it is worth more than that from the behind the scenes offers I have received. It matters not to me, because to me, the cue is priceless, and is simply not for sale....the value is irrevelent.

as to how much they cost...well since I got them new I'll just leave that between me and the cue makers.
 
Main Playing Cue

I am currently playing with a Mike Bender 15 point cue with ivory in the butt end. I'm in it for 1,800.00. My break cue is a Sowder which costs 550.00. My jump cue is also a Sowder which costs 150.00.

I like my Mike Bender Cue so much that I'm thinking of moving to a fancier Mike Bender cue paying up to 3,000.00. I will try and trade my current Bender and cash for a fancier Bender. I am assuming the fancier Bender will play as good as my current Bender.
