How the hell could Predator have such crappy customer service they cant give any information to their retailers or to their own customer support representatives on when they would have THEIR OWN products available...
I could not imagine one of my customers calling to find out a time window their project might start and our reply is "well shit have no idea". I would expect their confidence level of my company would take a downturn..
 
I couldn't agree more. I don't know why anyone would buy their products given how common reports are of their awful customer service. Yeah, in general their products are fine, but when there is a problem customer service and warranty integrity are virtually nonexistent. I don't have any predator equipment myself, but many of the people I shoot with and against do. Of those folks maybe a third to half have stories of customer service that is disinterested at best, and insulting at worst. On the other side I have yet to hear a story from anyone I know personally about a positive experience with them. Strangely even the people I know who have had bad experiences continue to use and buy their products. :rolleyes:

Maybe they have a bunch of ex Meucci employees working for them.
 
. I dont know why people buy their shit...its overpriced trash. Their shafts are good, and thats the end of it. I hear horror stories regarding customer service from people i shoot with.

As long as people keep clamoring to buy their stuff, why change the biz model??

My revo cracked .. I sent it back and even though they said it was my fault because the pad wasn’t replaced when I got a new tip they replaced the shaft anyway. now you heard one good story lol

Yeah, I've heard a couple positive stories about them here on AZB, but as I said in my post, not from anyone I know personally. I'm happy that it worked out well for you, though. :)

I get it. If I were the king of Predator I might be doing the same thing, but I kind of doubt it. I've owned several businesses over the years, and a couple at the moment, and I just don't like the idea that I might be treating a customer badly. That's just me, though.

I do agree that if a company's customer base doesn't demand better there might not be enough internal motivation for them to do it. The point in my earlier post wasn't that they needed to change, but rather that it was strange to me that their customers didn't demand better or leave.
