how to fix a creased magic rack ?

Just got a new Magic Rack in the mail, and even though the envelope says "DO NOT BEND", the retailer used a soft envelope, and the magic rack for 8 ball (only) has a crease in one area that causes about a 1/8 or 1/16 inch lift. (no lift when balls are on top of it holding it flat)

I really dont feel like going to the trouble of sending it back, so should I just place it under a heavy stack of books for a few days?

(I tried massaging the crease with my fingers, but no dice, the plastic is fighting to hold onto this crease)

put a couple sheets notebook paper on top of it, then put iron on warm/medium and iron overtop the notebook paper. It will smooth it back out without melting the rack.

Iron it just like clothes, don't leave it just sit in one spot.
