How to fix rail cloth

Rail cloth loose at top. Do I have to take the rail off the table to repair or can it be fixed without doing this? If it's just a matter of putting the cloth back under the featherstrip do you have to dissamble the rail from the table?

Yes...if you want it fixed right, which should have been done in the first place!

Yes, you need to take the table apart. I see this alot with simonis cloth. The featherstrip needs to be fit tighter. I would suggest getting more featherstrips before tearing the table apart. New rail cloth would be nice too. I also suggest keeping people from sitting on the table. has the table been recovered recently?
