How To Get A CB Clean?

I have a blue dot CB that is pretty dirty. its got blue spots/streaks/patches, etc, on it, and i'd like to know how i can get it clean again. i think over the years i have used car wax on it, along with the Aramith ball polish.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just put some of the Aramith polish on a cloth and rub the ball all over until the marks are gone. Let the ball sit for a couple minutes, then wipe it clean with a second cloth (or a clean portion of the first cloth).
 
I've been using Aramith Ball cleaner and it hasn't let me down yet. It comes in two strengths, blue bottle is the Aramith Ball Cleaner, and green bottle is the stronger Aramith Ball Restorer. If you're already putting in elbow grease and its still not getting it clean enough, then maybe you'll need the stronger Ball Restorer.
 
Mike, I had a blue dot many years ago, to be quite honest, it was not made of ideal materials and was a chalk magnet. Looked horrible after a few hrs of play. Suggest to get a aramith red circle cue ball. Looking at maybe a $15 investment. You will be pleasantly surprised. Good luck. moonpuppy
 
I had a blue dot that was addicted to heroin and I would suggest getting it into a methadone management treatment and take it slow expect some set backs but if you can get the cueball to stick with it, it will turn out great.
 
Is it the cueball now that's making you miss DCP?

You've gone through the actual playing balls.
The tip.
The rack.
The table.
The cloth.
The rails.
The wrap.
The stick.

Does anyone else notice this. I think it will be broken down to air quality or something and then that will be his AH HAH moment that's why I was missing. All these pool people that recommended lessons with so and so or this book, don't know what they are talking about.
