How to maximize Taom Chalk

I’m Asian so I feel compelled to do this regardless of how much things cost. You should see my toothpaste tube with a clothespin that still somehow finds paste to squeeze out. :D
My dad grew up during the great depression and could remember years of being hungry. He raised me to not be wasteful and now I can't break it. Even if I was a billionaire, I still wouldn't be wasteful. Most young folks today have no idea what it's like to REALLY struggle. Our society has become soft, entitled, and spoiled. Please mail me your unwanted TAOM nubs, I'll use um'.

After extensive use i think i may go back to master for just one reason
i want to chalk on every shot , this stuff cakes on so much that it layers up over my tip surface and feel like i cant get the tip to grab and take the stroke like what im most accustomed to using. gonna give it a rest for a couple nights

Y'all are just sounding cheap talking about how to use every last drop of $20 chalk. I've lost my chalk every time. I'm never going to worry about getting that last 1/4"

Taom chalk is one of the more expensive chalks out there, I would not call anyone using one as "cheap" :) That last 1/4 inch is roughly $5, would you throw away a $5?

That’s a good way to think about it. I will use it all then.

The time to throw it away is when it breaks or there is a hole.

What I use.
2 different depth chalk holders so you just switch to the shorty when it gets low.
You may or may not want to use their clip -it isn't the easiest to get over every style belt.

For context, I come from the Philippines and if your working minimum wage, you would need to two, 8 hour days to buy a Taom Chalk, so here in the Philippines, a Taom chalk is sort of a luxury

One of the chalk has Pagulayan’s name on it too.

I put tape around the sides, which helps stop it from rolling far. I also expoxied a washer to the bottom so it works great with my magnetic chalk holder. The layer of epoxy should also allow me to use the chalk down to the very end. First piece I bought lasted 18 months-

I generally give it away at that point to someone that wants to try out more expensive chalk. Lets them do that and "forces" me to buy a new one. My current favorite is Kamui Roku.

Who am i kidding? I usually have 2-3 more in my bag.

You got creative. LOL

$20 for something that last a long ass time is not expensive.

It is only expensive if we are losing them and not caring like we would with any other chalk.

Granted, you have to keep your eye on it and worry about it. So far I have forgotten my chalk 5 times in a few months. Thankfully people tell me or bring it to me.

why invent something that has already been invented to deal with a worn out useless piece of trash.
