How was the home billiard business the past 12 months? I know pool hall business was way, way, way down. But what about home customers? Were more home tables bought? More cloth and ball sets? More re-levelling jobs? What about cue sales? Both production and custom? etc.

A lot of home based industries had their best years every. All the computer companies did. Home Depot did. Wondering if that trickled down to home pool room business.

It did, I had a mechanic's team totally screw me on a 14-table room install because they were so busy with home jobs. Way busier than usual

I think Diamond has a 6 week window on new tables now. A good friend of mine is in the business and they are booked through the 30th as of last week. Service work and used table sales are off the chain. The tables are selling faster than they can re-stock the inventory.

Cue sales are not as strong as the service work. Lots of putting tips and wraps on cues though.

A friend who owns a popular rec store in ATL said they could barely keep up with table demand, often selling even floor models to cover needs until the next shipment arrives. He is clear it was the busiest year he could remember.
