As a matter of fact, I do have "The Inner Game of Tennis" in my library. I'm not sure of your "lol" comment?

Yes, I play at Big Dogs sometimes. Last winter I was on two full-time leagues and one as a sub., so my pool time was mostly in those. This summer I'm working on house projects so my time is again limited for pool. When I do make it to the ph, I've been going to Shooters Hideaway with friends who like it better. (I suspect it's those giant Metro pockets they really like, not the atmosphere.)

I just got a new scanner/printer so maybe I can get my picture up here sometime within the next millenium or so. I hope to meet you in person sometime soon.

you're using your imagination too much, which is the ONLY thing we have to go on when it comes to internet forums. You have NO CLUE what a person is like until you meet him in real life.

Everyone who posts on any online forum gets to choose their words, no-one else types them for them. If they express themselves poorly it can be because they have bad written language skills, but if they express them rudely it is because they choose to be rude. People are often capable of being much more offensive when they write than when they meet in person, because of the feeling of anonymity and disconnect, and due to the lack of audible emotion and body language that cues us to when someone is being humorous or sarcastic. That does not mean that the person is not thinking offensive things, just that they are not going to say them when someone is within range to punch them.

All it takes is a little effort to communicate politely and to give a positive impression. If someone does not choose to make that effort it very clearly demonstrates their personality.

Just wondering whether FL can play as well as he claims.

So, after a couple of days and two pages of replys, I have not seen any first-hand description of how FL plays pool these days. Apparently nobody has seen him play live ? How can this be ? I though that collectively posters here on AZ knew everybody and their games. The vast majority of other threads about specific players have numerous first-hand witnesses, why not FL ? I'm real curious now ! Come on now, let's have some real info people.

He played in a UPA in event and went 0-2 (10-3, 10-4) but that's the only tourney I've heard him play in. One tourney isn't enough to gauge anyones' ability unless your there in person.

Okay Bozo (or should I say Mike), Larry was a sandbagging 6 (i.e. really a 7). He took a team to Vegas and eventually the league bumped him up to a 7, and I believe that this is around the time the APA started dissallowing professionals.

APA7 constantly trying to bash FL. I thought you would have had enough after you banned him Mike.

I find it hard to believe that apa7 is Mike.I think he has better things to do then to come on his own board under a factitious name.Do you have any solid proof of these allergations?If not keep your opines to yourself.
