how do you measure the 2 paramaters mentioned/??
also how do you measure shelf depth
What pocket angle works for the best playability?
for me my pocket opening is 4 3/8
on a gold crown 1
pocket angle 141.5
according to the mechanic who just did my table
do i need to give you more info like the first number mentioned below (how do you measure that
how will the tables play when the new simonis 860 breaks in??
Assume the outside opening is 4 1/2" and a self depth of 1 3/4".

o 45 degrees/135 degrees
o 46 degrees/136 degrees
o 47 degrees/137 degrees
o 48 degrees/138 degrees
o 49 degrees/139 degrees
o 50 degrees/140 degrees
o 51 degrees/141 degrees
o 52 degrees/142 degrees
o 53 degrees/143 degrees
 
so bottom line
i have gold crown 1 with 4 3/8 pockets (shimmed)
and a 141.5 pocket angle
what else if anything do you have to know to tell me how tough a table i will have to play on

All tables play tougher than my skill level. This is why I haven't broken Mosconi's record to date.
