Correct.Low left Draw, med speed
Actually, I was misled by the small pic - when I enlarge it I see that the 8-ball's closer to midtable, which puts the CB's path close to the top right corner pocket. So I might roll it with no side spin to go two rails out of the top right corner toward the middle of the opposite end rail.I want to roll it with no side spin, but I'm afraid of the scratch in the opposite corner - so I'd roll it at medium speed with a touch of right. At that cut angle the right side spin might actually reduce throw.
I like the cut of your jib. If the rails are reasonably lively a very crisp hit with a half tip of low right might stiff it back for a 6 railer in the top left corner. If I was playing for cash, this is correct :"Low left Draw, med speed".
But if I was playing to impress the ladies, I'd bank it 3-rails into the upper side pocket.

This is how most of us hit the shot. Center ball stun works as well, but it can throw a lot, and most rotation players are so used to the low outside draw that it is our most comfortable way to play it.Low left Draw, med speed
why do you ask how to hit it?
Ha ha ha!!If I was playing for cash, this is correct :"Low left Draw, med speed".

See my post above which i editedthe tangent line takes the cue ball one diamond short of the corner so I'd make sure I didn't pick up any roll, I'd drag or draw the shot. Maybe a little outside English.

doesnt it sit best for a 4 railer to the same pocket as the op wants to shoot itI like the cut of your jib. If the rails are reasonably lively a very crisp hit with a half tip of low right might stiff it back for a 6 railer in the top left corner.
Just to pocket the 8 Low left Draw, med speed, that's how I've been shooting it for 63 years and for me it's the highest percentage to make the shot.Low left Draw, med speed
