How would you play this shot (one pocket) part 4

Yes I get spotted 8-7. My pocket is the right one with the 8 ball hanging in it. It's tan master chalk that made the stain by the side pocket.

My first thought on seeing the upside down picture was that I thought you were missing a side pocket. Then I said to myself "that must be why he's playing 1 pocket!"

That can't be right, it's his shot? What's the problem then? looks like you can slightly rub the 13 and rest the CB on the rail. Or ... don't rub it, take a foul and still leave it on the rail a little higher than even. Let him go on the three ball bank. In fact regardless of who's pocket is who's, I think I'd pinch the CB to the left long rail with a touch of low left almost along the tanget line if I could to avoid the foul. If not then roll it and take the foul to the same place.

My opponent shot. Just banked the 8 and hooked him on the ball

one pocket is slow...barking4action has plenty of time to take a picture during a shot and post it on the forums

but yeah, i agree taking a foul is the best shot here.

I make my friend wait. This has been fun try to get a shot a session to discuss.

Different angle.

Think to myself, "Self, what the F*** are you doing on the ceiling??".

Then flip myself and the table over and soft kick to the foot rail to hit the bottom of the 15-ball, trying to make the 8. Might take a little masse.

take a scratch in such away was to entice a return scratch that gives me access to the short rail at the head of the table (so I want to push the q-ball and the ball it is frozen to into a more parallel position with the end rail).

The plan being getting a shot to kick the 8 in, one rail but the length wise. Maybe if I am lucky he might do something even dumber with his response ... that is the best I have...
