I am playing Dave Gomez and Scotty race to 3 one pocket for $50 man. I am up 2-1 and left them this shot! They have 1 ball and I need 7.

I have no clue about 1-pocket. But here's the second picture for the non-aussies.

Which is your hole?

Assuming yours is the one nearest the cue ball, I would thin the ball and go to the rail and try to get behind it a little.

First, take a foul and spot one to clutter the spot a little. If they then take a foul back, graze the ball and go to the bottom rail with left and put the cue ball between the 7 and the 8. The balls are laying a little funny so they might not pull shape if they shoot the hanger, especially if they are jacked up by the 7 ball a little or stretching.

Hanging from my Chandeleir,......

Hanging from my Chandelier, I can see this one ! :p:D
You didn't say how many fouls you had. That aside, I think you would need to roll up behind that 13 ball (ever so carefully). Get the CB better than 50% behind the 13 to give a very narrow slice for that 14-8 c0mbo for the corner. Roll them BOTH up so you get the CB (and 13 in front of it) past that 4 ball.
I'm glad you are takin' that shot instead of me !

Yeah, I think you outdone yourself with this one. You're f'd.

Can't do anything but foul and put him on the 13' hopefully to leave them wit the tangent line close to parallel with the side rails...

:frown:Unless they are spotting you a ball something is off!

You say they have one ball and you need 7.

That would mean you both have one ball.

Which would mean that there should be 13 balls
on the table. However there are 14 balls on the table.

Are you getting spotted a ball?

Edti: Who spilled something by the side pocket? :frown:

one pocket is slow...barking4action has plenty of time to take a picture during a shot and post it on the forums

but yeah, i agree taking a foul is the best shot here.

Bark's pocket has the 8 hanging over it.
I believe he gets 8-7 spot.

That can't be right, it's his shot? What's the problem then? looks like you can slightly rub the 13 and rest the CB on the rail. Or ... don't rub it, take a foul and still leave it on the rail a little higher than even. Let him go on the three ball bank. In fact regardless of who's pocket is who's, I think I'd pinch the CB to the left long rail with a touch of low left almost along the tanget line if I could to avoid the foul. If not then roll it and take the foul to the same place.

Bark LEFT him this shot....refer to OP.

I think touching the cue ball is the only shot here.....
..Nick Varner would owe as many balls as needed to make the other guy
open up.
