There are several methods of getting from the 4 to the 5 ball. How would you do it?

Playing the 4 in the right corner of course with just a little left bottom english and go 3 rails. This one is all about the speed!:thumbup:
If I "like" the speed of the table, I may play the two-rail out the middle position. If the table is playing a lot faster than I "like", I'm "dead-balling" the shot and hitting it a bit firmer and bringing it back around 3 rails to "slow" it down into position. As long as you can hit the 5 ball and make it in the corner, then there are several ways to get out from there...none too difficult.
I only see two ways. 2 rails to the middle, or 3/4 rails all the way around. 3 rails gives more leeway speed-wise, the 2-rail shot has to stop within about a foot of the target or get hooked, 3-railer a little more. But the 2-railer leaves easier shape to get on the 6.

Definitely little bit low and good amount left and medium hard shot for four rails position.
Same as that 3 rail position but shooting 1 rail more makes it almost impossible to miss position, because last two rails have braking sidespin on it.
Also when you have pressure on it's easier shoot firmer shot.

Depends entirely on where the 6 is. In this case, and to avoid the combo, two rails, lots of gear, middle of the table.
I like going three rails only..hitting the middle diamond on the third rail
is pretty natural....with low left.
I wanna be full on the five so I can get the six in the side...

I agree, (same thing I said) except for the left english. Left will have the tendency to bring it long off the second rail and might hit the six. I would use center ball axis because you are already getting some left on the cb from contact induced spin. I think all you guys putting low on it might find yourselves scratching. Stun shot is a dead scratch.
The stun looks very close to a scratch. Low? I might be getting confused but how can anyone go 3 rails to the 5 with low?
Stun run all day long. It will head towards the diamond closest to the corner, and a little left wil swing it onto the second rail the up just short of the middle diamond on the opposite long rail.

itsfroze noticed it also....not much gets past him.
...if I played gin with him, I'd be glad to break even.
