:o So I got these Balls off of Ebay, Because I didnt want to spend alot of money, So I get them and they are so filthy, tried arameth Ball cleaner.. no luck, I think they were used in a smokers billiard hall and never cleaned. So I ended up buying a new set of Centennial Pool Balls. I wanted do do something with the old Balls so I used my Polishing wheel to clean them. They Look pretty good. They have a little streaking. I KNOW YOU PROBABLLY SHOULDNT USE A POLISHING WHEEL BECAUSE THEY MIGHT BECOME UN-ROUND(un round lol, dont know the right word). Just passing on some info... I want to use these as decoration, or maybe for the kids to play with... what do you do with your old balls?

Great Idea.... I need a score counters anyways. I have been looking for the antique wood ones... Now I just need another set of DIRTY BALLS... Cheap too.

old pool balls

Drill a hole in your favorite ball and mount it on your gear shifter/gear selector...

Tap and drill a 5/8" bolt into them and they go great on the back end of a pickup in the hitch:grin:

Phenolic that is used in Pool Balls ages with time, and the balls will normally take on that smokey color like those in your photo's. I am certain ly not an expert but I think like you did buying a new set was a good choice. You can always use the old ones to make a clock for your pool room!!!!:)
