How's the Eurosport coverage?

First of all, words can't describe the jealousy I feel towards people who get Eurosport at this moment...

Also, how's the coverage? Better than on OLN I hope...

Is it live?

Who is doing commentary? I assume it's not KT; personally I'd like to see Jerry Forsyth in the booth, but I digress...

Average at best.

The production needs a lot of work, camera angles not always great.

We get Eurosport commentators, not the IPT commentators, has been the same for both the IPT "World" Championship and King of the Hill.

But I guess it is better than having no live coverage!

From the schedules, we are getting 2 and a half hours live coverage per day, plus highlights, presumably from the previous day.

In Sky, we got Eurosport 1 and 2. 2 1/2 hours each. Eurosport 2 is from 6pm to 8:30pm, and Eurosport 1 starts from 8:30pm to 11:00pm. Right now itis 7:45pm and on TV is Mike"The Mouth" Sigel vs Linda Carter. Sigel talks to people behind him that he probably doesn't know and not even talking to him.

Good to see the refs doing their job, sounds like Sigel moved a ball with his hand and the ref didn't see it.

Yesterday wasn't great, match wise. Also the entourage around the tv-table was slightly disappointing. They had the normal matchroom type stands, half of which were empty, combined with big party poker banners. I was hoping for a bit more class. Also the review on Eurosport 2 wasn't in the dutch program guides, so that didn't help. According to parvus there should be pool on Eurosport 2 right now, but there isn't.

Anyway I expect the matches to heat up once we get into the further rounds. Commentators were above average for Eurosport, at least you could tell they play pool at some level. I think I'll start a live coverage thread for the final and last round robin matches.

Yes he did. The whole audience saw it, even the Sardo people. When I asked the ref, he said he didn't see it. What was he standing there for then?

That would have made it 6-4, instead of 7-3. I don't want to dwell on it, but it has affected my mood all day. :(

It came across really obviously on TV I thought. Sigel's face and actions alone were enough to confirm it.

If it's any consolation I think the whole of Europe was probably rooting for you to win that one.

Thank you, that was very sweet to say so. I wish I could have held up better, but perhaps next time. :D

Hi Linda,

Sorry, but I missed that broadcast. It was on Eurosport 2 and wasn't in the guides. You'll get him next time!
