Huebert????

Never heard of a Huebert cue before, but have heard of 2 similar.

Hubbart - Named cue line manufactured by Meucci in the mid 70's, if I am not mistaken. Larry Hubbart was a well known pro play back then, and Meucci backed him with a line of cues, not unlike Jimmy Rempe, Buddy Hall, Loree Jon Jones, etc.

Huebler - Paul Huebler has been making cues since the mid 60's. Currently the company makes both production and custom cues. If you send me an email of the cue, particularly any markings, I may be able to identify it for you, or point you to someone who may know.

I remember they had a series of Custom Shop cues (I see you have one - how do you liike it?). Does Huebler still make those cues? Also, I read somewhere that Paul Huebler sold the company. Do you know if that's true?

Paul Huebler made the customs himself but he has stopped. he has not made his trade ,mark U.S. Open or Ivory Chess cue in a long time. My understanding is he had sold the company at one time but has taken it back. I just spoke to him a few days ago. I believe that they are selling cues direct now.

Here's his web-site.

Here are some of my Hueblers:
