I need to identify this cue.

I would also like to know the Characteristics(type of woods), age, value?

I have been told from people on my pool league that it is a 1976-1978, has mother of pearl inlays, 4-points, original shaft, wrap and insert.

Any information on the stick would be nice....I dont really know if what I was told by people from the bar is correct or not. Ooh and its the original wrap also...is it a custom cue handmade by Paul huebler himself? or was it made by the hundreds in a factory?

Huebler Info:

Your cue is the Huebler H-9. When new it sold for $155 list. It is from the timeframe you were told give or take a year to be sure. Probably not after 1978 due to the pin. Definitely not 1974 and probably not 1975. Paul probably had a hand in the build. I do not think he had much help in the first few years. Maybe 3-6 employees, none capable of a cue build from start to finish. Meucci was on his own by then. Hope this helps. What the cue is worth is debatable. Most cues like this sell between $200-300 range.
Yours appears to be in very good condition. I would not let it go for under $250. I won many tournaments in the 80's using a cue like yours. It was one of the best I ever owned. Not easy to find a newer one to play as good. Bob H.

Bu the way. In the upper right corner you see a drop down menu with the letter A in the window. That will let you find other cue makers in the on line Blue Book.
