Huebler Cue ID Please

Could you please help me to identify a Huebler Cue for me?

Where in the Huebler hierarchy is the Vertical Logo on a White Butt?
Is this Unwrapped Merry Widow Huebler worth buying?
Do they play well?

I picked up that Craigslist cue today and it is confirmed......
A 1973-1976 HI1 in near perfect shape.
*****This Cue has Both a Vertical Logo and a HI1 Gold Stamp.*****
I've been told this should not be. An expert is looking into it for me.
Could be I have a "one of a kind" double logo Huebler.
Just some ring edge lifting. Nothing bad, can't see it, only feel it.
***and a crunchy Button Bumper. Anyone have a replacement? PM me, Please!
Talked him down to $150.
That would be like $130+ shipping on Fleabay.
I'm happy!

Justin will tell you it's worth about a trade for his laptop! lol ~ I had a Huebler H-7 in about '77 or '78 and it was a great player, didn't have it but a few months & it got stolen!

Prices for Hueblers have been strong since he died.

If you really want an earlier one with the pill bumper and brass pin you will pay more.

Whether or not it is worth it is more of a personal decision. I mean, if you are looking to flip it then hell no, you aren't going to be bidding on an Ebay Huebler.

I guess it just depends on how bad you want one.

I say $100 range...which could certainly mean anything over 100 up to 200.

To me it looks like those sellers have looked at what Hueblers are going for and chose their starting prices accordingly.

Rarely, if you watch, you will find a "But It Now" bargain.

Those plain-jane H's were made from '73 all the way thru at least '83 0r '85. They used a variety of woods but the ring-work, joint-collars and butt-cap were pretty much the same. I found one in a ps that needed a tip for 15bux. Dead straight, no roll. Sweeet buy.

The price is just fine. Both buyer and seller made out OK.

You can sit around and wait for a bargain but this is a nice example of an early one.

Totally agree. Its in great shape. I just lucky the ps guy had no clue about cues when i spotted the one i got. Sold it for $125 a week later.

I have the same cue with different woods.... I think about the same age. i paid 25$ for it ( not hat has anything to do with it) Its a solid cue and plays pretty darn good.
