Found this older Huebler. Tryed to contact them but no reply. Would like to know the age of the cue but more importantly I want to know what kind of wood was used in the Butt. Sent the cue over to Ken, krbsailing here on the forum. Cue was really beat up so we took off the old finish. Shaft is not original but Ken did a nice job converting an older shaft for me. Turned it down at the joint and added the collar, new ferrule and tip. Cue plays outstanding. My first Huebler, and I have only $125 into it.
Thanks for any info and or help here. David

Looks a bit like Pau Ferro to me. Looks like Ken did an awesome job on the cue recovery. :D

The cues logo is what they have been using since the early 1990's. The wood is impossible to ID without better photo's, but Paul used a allot of Rosewoods, Cocobolo, andother similar hard woods in his cues.

Oh and by the way, Heubler Sneaky Petes, are not purchased blanks, they are all spliced in Pauls shop, unlike 99% of others who sell them. Tipically plain models without collars sold for around $195, however, in 2005 I had a number made with two shafts and Black collars at the joint, which I sold for $275 ea. Two of these cues were also signed between the points by Paul, at the customers request.

Thanks
