Has anyone out there heard of Hunter Classic Cues? If so could you tell me a little about them. I seen one recently and it looked nice. I was wondering about playability.

I'm not sure if you're talking about Bobby Hunter cue sticks. Keith McCready played with a custom-made Bobby Hunter cue for several years. He picked it up from another pro player that, I assume, had this stick customized to his liking.

This Hunter cue had a lot of ivory, cocobolo, and ebony in the craftsmanship, and it was beautiful, worth maybe $2,000 with the three shafts in today's pool market (IMO). The "hit" must have been good for Keith to keep playing with it for so long. He has just recently retired it and is using a different cue at this time which was customized for Keith's liking.

JMHO, FWIW. :)

there are two types of hunter cues. one is hunter classic cues which is based out of i believe new mexico. im not to sure on the hit or any other info on these cues. i do believe that hunter classic cues also is a sponsor for one of the pro womens tournament tours. the second like jam said above is bobby hunter custom cues. which i am a proud owner of. the best hitting cue i have ever held in my hands and would trade for nething. bobby has a website huntercues.com if ur interesting in checking out some of his stuff, not a bad site but could be a lil better...
