I'm not sure if The Chicken Shack is still there or not. It was a great pool friendly bar.
I made good scores in there several times. Once I spent about 3 hours to make
about $800 and then lost it all in minutes.
Used to be a late night spot.

Gotta agree with Hal. I travelled to Huntville and had looked up this place- nice tables, easy to find a game, even bougt an Outlaw cue to play with as a travel cue while I was there. Its a poolhall with the requisite 40' bar. If its an option, they also do a decent lunch.

The coolest pool bar I ever went to was in Huntsville, Alabama. It most likely ain't there anymore, but they had a ton of them back in the '70s. The name of the joint was 8-Ball Lounge. I will never forget it. We got action there. I don't think you will have any trouble finding a pool spot in Huntsville.
