That's a kind thought. I too hope there is no serious loss of life, limb or property.

it's real bad here on the eastern shore...with alot of roof damage to our house and the wind is unreal with gust to 70-80 right now!!
 
I too hope all is safe and sound. I hope this does not turn into another Katrina with all of it's damage and loss of life.
 
Up here in Western Ma. they canceled everything and so far we only got some rain and a breeze...I guess we'll be lucky this time. Hope everyone else is also.

This sucks.... I'm on Long Island we have been without power since 3.... Over 645,000 without power..... Anddddd I am bored and can't sleep.... Good luck to everyone else
 
I sandbagged the entire entrance to my shop in preparation for this ... and it ended up being more wind than rain. Couple of downed lines, couple of tree branches in the road, etc ... not too bad here in MA. I feel for the folks in NJ and NY, I think they got the worst of it. I wish everyone the best of luck in getting through this storm.
 
Looks like we got pretty lucky in mid PA also,alot of rain but the winds did not hit like they were expected.I prepared the home and shop for the worst and even went as far as buying those energizer LED lights for mounting on my pool table light incase of long term power loss.One on each corner and its like daylight.

Hope everyone else is as lucky.

Going on day 5 without power or phones..... Basically no Internet at the house have to go to shopping center to get 3 g service for the cell phone

WOW Limited power this morning, feels great to have phone and Internet. just shy of full 11 days with out service. Special thanks for all the responders that are helping the North east.
