Yeah, in this context TOI and shaft stiffness is most important. :-)

Talking about balance and weight, to me just the balance and just the weight, each of both regarded as a seperate and disconnected issue, are not so important to me, whereas the combination of everything: shaft taper + diameter, shaft feel, grip feeling, weight and balance point decide, if I feel well with a cuestick or if weight has to be added or removed. By this I have more than 2 cuesticks that have not more than 0,3 oz digference in weight, but up to 1 1/2 inch different balance points. Feeling all in all well with a cuestick is at the end not so highly important to me with the exception of the sound (here I'm a bit too sensitive, maybe). I would place the "all in all well feeling" not under the first 3 priorities of the things that allow me playing a consistent game.

But if I seperate weight and balance it is the weight to me that I admit a higher prirority than balance. But this is one of many things that is due to my pretty tight grip. Players that prefer a very loose grip are much more sensitive to balance questions because they let the cue flow more naturally.
