Do you include any change of pace oddball-shots to break up your practice sessions? ......OK, yeah...I do.
I got one..
cb and ob each about a diamond away from each long rail. The shot lays as a cross side bank but long by 1/2 diamond or so. Tighten the bank hitting firm high inside on the cb. Spin off side rail and get down near middle bottom short rail after striking adjacent long rail, (beware the scratch)for next ball and/or hide if bank doesn't go. Kind of a non-pop force follow...almost 'pushing', but with some speed.
I might shoot it early in a rack that had trouble balls ahead, otherwise probably save for screwing around.
As I age and see less well, I find I have more odd 2 way shots in my games.
