I am a bad salesman.

Nobody accepts a massive low ball offer, do they ? As stated earlier this kind of language is used as justification for a poor decision.

it's also moot as in the same sentence that he mentions it was a low ball offer, he also mentions/confirms that he ACCEPTED it. it's very clear cut, either you accept the deal or you dont. once it's accepted then the deal is done.

Excellent example of one's integrity. I would have said 'thanks but I'll pass' when given OP's instructions on how his pita sale would go down :poke:

this is a prime example of why ill never buy a cue on AZB from sellers. it takes a few bad apples to ruin the bunch is the saying. Ive had bad deals a couple of times, no more. this was a bad attempt at saving ones face. and flippers wonder why the sales forum is dead. take a look in the mirror. DAMN, I'm full of cliches this morning:thumbup:

If you accepted the first offer, it was a deal.

I don't care if someone offered you a million dollars more, it doesn't make any difference.

IMO, you are wrong.

You asked, that's MO.

I got a massive lowball offer on my cue, accepted, and then canceled before I could shoot an invoice off because a much more generous offer came in.

This happened within an hour, no money exchanged hands.

I am a monster.

Please burn me at the stake.

Why did you go back on your word? What did you gain from that? What did you lose from that. Do the math...was it worth it?

So, you screw over a buyer and then...what? Decide to start a thread with language that you think justifies your actions? (i.e. "massive low ball offer," "cancelled before I could shoot an invoice off," "much more generous offer,")?

The truth is it doesn't. You couldn't be more wrong in this scenario regardless of how you try to spin it. But, congrats! You have ensured you will never get a "massive lowball offer" that you can "cancel before you could shoot off an invoice for a much more generous offer" from me (or likely many of the other posters here that you have shown your true colors to in an attempt to make yourself feel better about your shady dealings with your unsuspecting victims).

But, don't sweat it. You're not a "monster." You're just a morally bankrupt, slave to the almighty dollar who is willing to sell their self respect/reputation for a few extra bucks and then use a couple ill-conceived adjectives to justify your sleaziness.
