Here it is folks i am challenging Stevekur1 to a match up. Any game he wants. I would like to do this via TAR or something else where there is a large audience to view the wooping. I am not sure how to go about setting this up with the right people but I am sick of Stevekur1 and want to put an end to our fued once and for all.
 
I read this forum more than I'd like to admit publicly, but I had no idea there was a feud between you two.
 
we play in a few of the same circles of people and hes been talking some smack and its getting ridiculous.
 
Are you even in the same area? I think you need some 'splainin to do before you get this underway, in an OMG/CUBC fashion. Regular readers may need a few months of drama before they're interested in watching.

Yeah..not enough drama for this match yet. Did he try to sleep with you or anything? Cmon..just to up and say "I challenge you" is not threatrical enough. Give us some background on the feud....GEEZ!

Fair enough. We are both in NY and both play in the same tournaments and rooms on Long Island. What started out as a friendly game turned into a pissing contest quick. He was talking about spotting me and the way he was doing it just didnt agree with me so i said no spot and he laughed at me. Now if i need a spot thats cool im nothing special but i dont appreciate being laughed at it has been getting worse since. I walk into a pool room and the snickering and the laughing begins. I really dont need this crap.
 
I mean i get this may not be a big deal like it prob sounds like a schoolyard thing but in all honesty its constant. I am sick of it.
 
Ooh, where in LI do you play? Maybe if some trash-talking starts we can get something online. I'm in the City and may know people with enough hardware to get this streaming if there's interest.

What are your levels of play? I'm guessing you're within a ball of each other, but are we talking C, B, A, Open, Pro speed?

We are both in Long Island playing out of Leisure Time and Raxx i would consider us both solid B to B+ players. There in however lies the probem he thinks hes mr fantastic A to A+ player and i am just a lowly C. Ridiculous
 
On a forum without context, it sounds school-yardish. Maybe it's something you should confront in person? Tell him you'll take whatever spot he's been squaking about, for a few dimes. Then you can post some updates.

I get what you're saying and while i would normally do this I want everyone on here to see how wrong he is and how he shouldnt be spouting off at all.

This has got to be the most obsurd thing i have ever read, just like all the shit you talk about my game when i am not around. you didnt think that i knew about that....

When i said to you that you would need a spot, i was looking out for your best interest. plus the fact of playing you even really isnt a challege. as a matter of fact you win a few more sets even, cause i kinda lose interest and i really dont have to play as hard. I am sure others have been faced with the same situation.

I am glad to see that you are Manning up a little and the fact that you had to go global with it, instead of man to man is a little childish. and you may have just opened up a can of worms.

And i know what will happen, the next time i see you. you will just crawl back under your little rock !

Interesting is that he had the stones to even reply. Listen here is the deal Ive beaten him in nine ball and 14.1 and ill be more than happy to do it again for everyone to see which in truth i would like that even more so everyone can see how ridiculous is. He plays two good shots and then bangs the ball around all hard hoping it will go in trying to look all fancy.
 
Bet? Please he wouldnt bet twenty if i was giving him the five out and all the breaks and i shoved a cue up my ass and played like that, its called FEAR folks.
 
of course i had to reply, but maybe i should have waited just to see what other BS you talk. i have been watching your posts for some time now, and have even commented a few times on your good ideas...... and it think by far this is your best idea yet ! ! ! ! ! !
