During my 20 years of military service I always used a TIMEX Ironman to time all of my training/PT runs. I loved that watch! It never died...somehow I lost the darn thing after I retired. Now I'm fat, and don't run at all and don't need one.

Watches are very interesting in that they tell a lot about the owner. I enjoy looking for vintage watches that have been a part of historical events. They were hard as hell to find and I am often happy to loan them out for publications in books, magazines, and museum exhibitions. I think by chance, I came across an interesting Balabushka and appreciate the interest and the discussion. Four more of my watches will be published next year, this book was more than 5 years in the making.

I hope someone publishes a book on historical pool cues, that would be very interesting.
