I can't wait for the backlash I'm gonna get here but I have to say this.
For starters, I think the very statement, "hottest woman in pool" is ludicrous for anyone to say, especially if it's about yourself.
With that said, I think if we're going to discuss such a ludircous thing, we should at least limit it to women who are actually IN pool. I think a strict definition would be any woman who has played in a WPBA event. Honestly, that's a good sized field and you're looking at women who have, in my opinion, EARNED the right to say they're IN pool. If you want to expand that definition, I would entertain the notion of considering women who have successfully competed on the regional level or in a national amateur tournament. "Successful" would mean they have either won a tournament or come very very close. Otherwise, the door is just wide open for people to post pics of their wives, girlfriends and internet crushes all day long just because they own a pool cue.
Seriously, it's disappointing that we're so quick to endorse an ambassador for our game just because of looks without considering their qualifications especially when you consider that with minimal effort, you can find incredibly attractive women who are actively competing in the WPBA, BCA, NEWT, etc. Truth be told, I love looking at an attractive woman just as much as the next guy but when Jean Balukas picks up a cue, I ain't watchin' any of the girls mentioned in these threads - NOT A SINGLE ONE!
What OMGWTF has done has shown how silly we all are for even giving this girl attention. However, it didn't BEGIN with Mary Avina nor will it end with her. There are plenty of girls with cues who will vie for "hottest in pool". Can't wait until they even come close to vying for best in pool.
